Today is the official Canadian Red Cross Day of Pink. Some of us ordered day of pink shirts. Others just wore pink. Lots of our class wore Red Cross pink shirts. As
a school we are standing together for respect and always choosing to be kind. It
was really great to see all the people wearing pink and supporting the Day of
Pink. My whole family ordered shirts. My mom wore hers to work today and my brother
wore his to school today. I hope my dad wore his when he left early in the
morning. We should always remember to treat others with kindness each day.
We learned a Stop/ Walk/Talk strategy to help students when we face problem behaviours. First you have to tell someone who is bothering you or others to stop. Second if they don't stop you walk away. Third you talk to an adult and tell them what's happening. We did some role playing to help us practice this strategy. I think it's really cool. It's three easy steps that you don't need to make a big fuss about. Remember to Stop/Walk/ Talk.
